Yes, there are issues at exactly 4GB which were fixed at USENIX in
san antonio.

I believe this falls under PAE with 4.9 or 5.1.
I'm not aware if 4.9 is currently released due to me not tracking it
really. But I am aware 5.1 does have PAE and that does support 4gb+
