I want to migrate from linux to freebsd. My linux box
(mail server) have alot of user (hundreds) --this is the
problem. I dont know which file which the password's file.
I dont want typing user name and its password one by one.
Beside of that, thereis possibly my users change their
passwor

I just setup freebsd box with squid. It is running normal, but ... it is very
slow speed when I connect to internet through this proxy. I never set this
freebsd with firewall or with ipf or ipfw. heeks ...

Hi, I have trouble with my NIC.
I'm using Server Mainboard Intel (I forgot the model), there is 2 NICs; the one
is 100Mbps other is 1 gigabit. I use this for my web server with freeBSD
5.1-RELEASE.
NIC 1 gigabit is not detected and recognised neither by freeBSD the other is
fine and working.

I just build a web server, with apache-2.xx w/ php and mysql-1.4xx. How to
configure firewall in my web server ? Must I download kernel source and
recompile ? If I must download kernel source, where I can found it ? I'm using
freebsd 5.1-RELEASE.

I try to make dual boot with Linux; Linux on first
boot. But, when grub show up and I choose freeBSD, my
Linux don't know that partition. I compiled my Linux
kernel to knowing BSD partition with name slice, but
