Also it would be great if some FreeBSD developers could review
parts of the code. So far, most feedback came from non-developers.

so seems to exist on
7.3-RELEASE-p4 amd64
and 8.1-RELEASE i386. The above program does not segfault on my 8.2-STABLE
amd64.
Any hints on the status of this observation are very welcome.

I'm running FreeBSD with 2 NFS mounts over tcp, apache 1.3.31,
openwebmail(read/write on both nfs mounted filesystems, /var/mail
spooldir and webmail userdir) and proftpd.
# uname -a
FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE-p8 #3: Mon Jun 28 07:18:32 BRT 2004
src-all last updated at: Sat Jun 19 09:28:59 BRT 2004.
ons like, getpw* cause this problem?
running only apache, mysql, openwebmail, the system dont crash, but
before start any ftp server and anyone make upload of files the system
stop with the error described above.
