Hi,
I'm looking to purchase an ATM adapter for my FreeBSD box. The two adapters
specified in the "Integrating ATM networking into BSD" document (Adaptec
ANA-59x0 & efficient ENI-155) are no longer available.
My needs are simple:
-PCI/ISA ATM adapter.
-Compatibility with the en0 driver (or
Is there a driver that support frame relay features in FreeBSD?
I saw a netgraph node called ng_frame_relay but I could not find any generic
driver that supports it.
Thanx,

Hi,
Does anyone have an idea why after creating 128 loopack devices and
configuring lo127 to 127.0.0.1 (instead of the default lo0) I am
experiencing many problems in interprocess communication using sockets?
Are lo0 and 127.0.0.1 (INADDR_LOOPBACK) tightly coupled?
Thanks,

Maybe this is the problem?

As I understand from rfc1661, the state, which the remote machine should be
after sending a CONF_ACK message, is ack_send. The sppp driver doesn't work
properly and I think that this is on of the reasons.

, the state should be changed according to the value of rv,
but it should be done right after the call to cp->RCR. The it is implemented
now, the state won't be changed.
(I have a lot of problems with this driver and any help will be
appreciative)
Thank you,

there is, how can I indicate the
different stages in the ppp protocol?
I looked in the implementation of the
ppp which uses the ppp driver but I think it does some assumptions (like using
ppp with the modem device) that confuses me.
