For svn, you can use
svn co svn://svn.freebsd.org/base/[whatever]
You can find all the [whatever] at http://svnweb.freebsd.org/base/
so if you wanted to get the latest HEAD src, then it would go something like
svn co svn://svn.freebsd.org/base/head
