Are there any issues that i should now about memcpy and multithreading in FreeBSD?
I've got a code which reads:
memcpy(&(h.req), req, sizeof(struct request));
and I keep getting SIGSEGV there in FreeBSD but not in Linux.
PS: Of course, I protect the write operation with a mutex.

The rfork() man page states that RFPROC should be set as the current
implementation 'requires' this flag to always be set.
Well from usage and kern_fork.c (/usr/src/sys/kern/kern_fork.c) and
vm_glue.c (/usr/src/sys/vm/vm_glue.c) it seems that the current
implementation does not 'require' this at a
FYI, newest FreeBSD port of GridEngine.
