questions regarding -c option to gjournal label

By way of intro I am new to freebsd and am in the process of setting up a small office server. I am leaning toward UFS with gjournal rather than ZFS and would like to make UFS as stable as possible and obtain the best possible data integrity. The man page states, " *-c* Checksum journal records."

In response to @Juan Manuel Palacios: Appreciate your advice. There seems to be overwhelming enthusiasm for ZFS. Maybe I am swimming against the current leaning toward UFS. My reasons are: 1. Have relied on dump backups to LTO tape for the past decade and am very comfortable with dump and restore.
