In /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.gecko.mk can Pulseaudio be disabled for Firefox and
Thunderbird, since these programs already use OSS and Sndio? This way, the
default packages won't install with Pulseaudio.

Yes, this problem exists in old Firefox too. My desktop was not updated
for more than 6 month, so I have
SeaMonkey 2.32:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox
aMonkey hasn't been updated, I'm wonder if the issue existed in
the older version of Firefox too.

Can anyone fill me in on the reasons beyond the options that enable the
user of the bundled cairo in various gecko@ ports? Why is the option
there? Is it still needed? I tend to dislike bundling and options that
aren't needed, so if it's not needed, we could perhaps elimina

So I think it is bug in Gecko on FreeBSD / FreeBSD 64bit.

From trying to keep things I don't use working, the fast pace of upstream
development, my aged hardware and poor teamplay (mea culpa). Hopefully, this

mk STRIP gets reset.
Perhaps the easiest solution would be to explicitly reset STRIP in bsd.gecko.mk
when DEBUG option is set. Similarly to how it is done for the profiling option.
