On 8-STABLE, I can reproduce vm/host freezes with or without VT-x checked
and with or without 3D acceleration checked. AMD64 is the host for me as

Well, I don't have a completely current world/kernel but it is
reasonably up to date (3 weeks ago I believe) and I was able to compile
this port without issue. I am on AMD64 as well. That doesn't help much
but it at least s

seen no issues whatsoever. Not sure about how much speed up though but
no stability issues.

On a win 7 guest. When I tried to refresh the "Windows Experience
Index", the
VM was summarily closed midway through the process. No crash or abort
warnings
of any kind. No host disturbance whatsoever however.
Without the 2d enebled, the refresh runs without problems.

To be honest, audio is what I need in Skype as I rely on Skype for my

I'm upgrading my FreeBSD 9 virtual box so I can attempt to reproduce.
Also need to install X on that VM so i

For the record, I saw this with 4.2.4 so I don't think this is
something with the new code. I haven't seen it yet with 4.2.6 but it
sounds like it hasn't been resolved yet. It doesn't occur very
