It seems there is no help for my double-click and hold problem. In
this case, can someone provide some info (or link) so that I can move
back a few releases and install a version of virtual box that would
work for me? I have not found any info on how to do this anywhere.

This is on FreebSD 10.2-RELEASE-p9, VBOX 4.3.34_OSE r104062, with
latest additions, Windows 7 64 bit ultimate edition is the guest OS.

This is a new install on Freebsd 9.0.
I kept running afoul of 'pw' errors. The install bailed saying

Hi there,
I'm interested in trying wine. I use the FBSD-8.1 amd64 platform. I
found some emails from January 2010 that imply you need to build this
on i386, but I have no access to an i386 machine, and there is no wine
in the amd64 packages.
Can anyone update me on the status of Wine for amd64, a
