http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/SMTP-Auth.html
for years.
Lately I'm trying to move to binary updates on amd64,
which means not rebuilding parts of the world by hand.
So I installed mail/sendmail package which is
built with auth

Checking

with http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator
gives 1 error:

Is /usr/tests still being used for the test suite?
On my box it is empty.

I've been using the recipe mentioned in
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/SMTP-Auth.html
for a number of years.
Just recently, following the openssl bug,
I've heard that the alternative to the
handbook route is port mail/sendmail-sasl.
I haven't tried that port, but it seem

Should this info be updated? Or maybe these
