I wasn't sure whether to post this here or on sta...@freebsd.org. The system
now runs RELENG_9, but the ZFS pool exhibiting problems was created, IIRC,
under 9-CURRENT. I believe RELENG_9 is sufficiently close to HEAD at this
stage that this list is probably the correct place for this message.
This has been committed to head, and the plan is to get it into stable/9
in time for 9.0.
Please let me know if you run into any problems with the changes.

I see two major issues on this machine (which is great for a server os
on a laptop :):
1. Screen brightness is not controllable/screen is off or backlight is 0
after resume
I have tried suspend with a stripped down GENERIC (usb, wifi, ethernet,
sound etc drivers all removed).
