Yow! Worked -- which is a bit strange: with 4.2 nothing like this was
necessary...

Thanks,

There's something fishy with Xkb in 4.3: whenever I try cyrillic
layouts (e.g. ru, bg, ua, etc.), I cannot type a thing (and yes,
cyrillic fonts are listed in font path). Once I change it to any
latin-based (us, pl, sk, cz, fr, etc.) -- all is ok.
Running xev shows that event is there. Anyone see

Is this normal:

Not sure whether this better belongs to -current or -questions...
The situation is like this: I run a recent current (cvsup'ed on Fri Dec 21)
with drm (0.9.4). X 4.1.0_10 has been compiled locally with Matrox drivers
from Matrox site (1.4.3, to match X4.1.x). This has also been done around

Hmmm... Just a thing I was having troyuble with ... Are you saying that you can now
use DMA, not PIO mode with it?
I may have missed in the recent traffic on this list, but with the system svcup'ed on
11-Oct I am running into some problems with things network-related. In particular I
get:
WARNING: Driver mistake: repeat make_dev("net/xl0")
when I bring up a ppp link (with -nat and -auto parameters)
Then

I guess I was not too current on the list's traffic last few days, sorry.

After a recent (last week) cvsup and make world I am getting the
following error whe trying to cvsup -CURRENT:
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/lib/libutil.so.3: Undefined symbol
"__stdoutp"
after which cvsup bails out. Why?
I tried to recompile the world and libutil separately -- same result.

Having overcome a small issue with buildworld in
games/fortune/strfile, there's a new
+issue: buildworld fails in /usr/src/secure/lib/libssl
make's output is a bit lengthy at this point, so I've slightly
clipped it:
===> libssl
( echo "#ifndef MK1MF_BUILD"; echo " /* auto-generated by
crypto/M
Over the last few days I am constantly getting an error making
buildworld.
To me this looks like group name is not being passed to install.sh
when doing
make install in /usr/src/games/fortunes/strfile -- but I can't figure
out
why... Any ideas? make output follows.
