Remark:
I use on all CURRENT boxes a special scheme for configuring the kernel/world.
The kernel
config files are located in /etc/config/amd64/kernel_conf/,

Trying to rebuild (from clean/scratch after "make cleanworld") and install
kernel/world.
make kernel works fine.
make installkernel bails out with:
