While trying to compile the latest version of XFree86 I found the following
compiler bug.
{root} gcc -v
Using builtin specs.

I assume that this an old version of gcc...

I'm trying to get the latest version of OSS (3.9.3a) working under
-current and having very little success.
When I try running soundconf, I get the following messages:
kldload: can't load /usr/opt/oss/oss_mod: Exec format error
Cannot load OSS driver module.

Well, I think I had an outdated vmware port.
I grabbed it new from the mindspring webser

Hi !
Some time ago I fetched your vmware port from internet.
I moved to -current because staroffice5 there is able to run
with a SMP kernel.
When trying to run vmware I encounter the following problems:
This message shows up immediately after program start:
kldload: can't load /usr/local/lib/v

We aren't doing mcast at this time. If there's anyone from Nortel
lurking behind this list, UCLA CS is pretty close to throwing out
the Accelars due to a lack of tech support response.

According to [EMAIL PROTECTED]:

Bad. Just use "sh MAKEDEV snd0". It will create suitable devices (old Voxware,
pcm and newpcm all use the same devices) for any sound card.

Is the ext2fs implementation in Net or Open GPL'd? If not, copy it too.

I didn't realize the difference in type of bus_space_handle_t. So,
bus.h needs to be separated into bus_at386.h and bus_pc98.h.
