Just FYI:
I am using FreeBSD 9-CURRENT (r209729) and tried VirtualBox from the
ports tree. After creating a machine, it couldn't be started, but
aborted with the message mentioned in ports/144959.
Applying Anthony Jenkins' patch resolved the issue (thanks to him!).
