Well, it's not a security update as such; merely a way to not have to manually
update ntp.conf by hand, as it's user-maintained. Will there be a resolution?

So this add-on card doesn't appear to honor the spec. It should be wiring the
sensor closed or some such if it isn't implemented. OTOH, it seems like the
Linux hotplug code (by my reading) doesn't act
