some skipping and other apparant multimedia timing issues seem to remain from
the earlier release in 14.1 RELEASE (anecdotally observed in an icecast stream,

Recently installed 14.1-RELEASE. The bug was observed on 12.2 and I would
occasionally see it affect icecast by skipping parts of songs or leaving 'dead
air' gaps in he stream.
