Running `service dhclient restart re2` gives me:
dhclient not running? (check /var/run/dhclient/dhclient.re2.pid).
're2' is not a DHCP-enabled interface

For the workaround, do I need to restart anything before it will take effect?
Simply editing the config file doesn’t seem to do anything, I am still getting
