I just confirmed this bug happens on a my Epyc system as well. The compile hung
on the first try. A reboot with the patch applied in

I'm running with SMT disabled in BIOS still. I configured it like this while
testing/debugging this issue.

Can all cores be used to build packages or does it require BIOS settings
