apparently hint.ahci.0.msi=0 did not help, so I removed this setting. And about
4 weeks later, my box had a new freeze.
Currently it runs 10.1-RELEASE-p19, on a Supermicro

Panic also occurs with 10.2-RELEASE and syncthing-0.11.18.
I forgot to tell that the kernel is not GENERIC.

I have upgraded the patch for FreeBSD 11.0-CURRENT r287155: simplified the
patch removing the OID sysctl kern.shutdown.show_umountfs.
