whereas Linux went after the desktop crowd and grew the server aspect via sheer
userbase demand. When speaking about unix or should I just say, anything not
Windows or Mac to most people, Linux has become l

y? Because we are not well known enough and FreeBSD user companies
do not demand "official support". Which propagates the problem, since
all you see on supported OS pages are sometimes everything but FreeBSD.
