Hi Harald, I am sorry for the long delay, but fixing the negative stride lead from one issue to the next. I finally got a version that does not regress. Please have a look. This patch has two parts: 1. The runtime library part in pr96992_3p1.patch and 2. the compiler changes in pr96992_3p2.patch.
