Unless I read those articles incorrectly (very likely, given my
inexperience with Git), both GitFlow and GithubFlow are aimed at
making a Git based workflow LESS DECENTRALISED, which I think is
something close to perfectly ironic.
What am I missing?

Hi,
As someone who worked with many version control systems, git does require a
little more work than say SVN but it not excessive and it does have quite
significant benefits.
It does take a while to get use to but we've all been there.

ou work on github and you don't own the

Ok, if I don't have to grants on CMS it's ok for me. If I should change
something I'll ask for some (P)PMC help here. I just trying to test that
all is setup ok for me.

Publishing might be restricted to (P)PMC members, you might want to
check with infrastructure@a.o.

Hi Bertrand,
that's right, I tried that and that's ok. SVN committing is ok in global.
The only problem right now is CMS publishing.

I'd say ping the mentor(s) again… but you just did, so "patience,

Carlos,
I was just now able to publish the site (from staging to live), so the
system is not broken. So, it must be your accounts that (still) lack
the privileges. I can't help with that, I'm afraid, one of the mentors
need to pick that up.
Sorry about this mess,

Hi Dave and Erik,
I was following the Dave instructions and I'm with Erik about a problem
with privileges.
The changes are in staging, so I (as Pepe Barragan) were successful
committing, and you can see the atest build with our changes, and going to
staging the changes are there. The problem is on
I think he is using:
https://cms.apache.org/flex/publish
At least that is the URL I gave him so he can publish the change(s) he
made to the staging site (via SVN commit) to the live site.
This is what I always use, and I don't see the problem he is
describing so I figured there might still be so
It looks like you are using the bookmarklet.
Are you waiting for staging build to finish? Watch

You may need to update your working copy.
Please see if the following documentation helps:
