Do you have any unit tests set up that replicate the issue?
I set up some really basic tests to see if I could get a failed test but
perhaps I'm not understanding the bug correctly, below are the tests I ran
(just a few quickies) but none of them failed.

I just took a look and no new validators have been written since Flex 4.6.
A spark DateTimeValidator (and Formatter) which was locale aware was planned
but not started.
