An official Apache release is a source code distribution. There is no official support for building Flex from sources on Linux as a couple of tools like Pixel Bender Toolkit are not available on Linux. You are more than welcome to take the binary distribution and the various repackaging scripts

Actually there are a fair few though not in the ranks of Win/Mac, the runtime issue has meant that I've had to run a virtual Windows machine to test stuff I would like to give this a run to see how it works in FDT 5.6 for Linux. I would expect, in theory, that you should be able to build Flex fine on Linux. Of course, with minimal / waning support for the Adobe Flash Runtimes on Linux, it seems unlikely at this time many Flex Developer's will be using Linux as their development platform. On 8/2/2012 3:47 AM, aYo ~
