Did you consider using GraniteDS (http://www.graniteds.org) instead of
BlazeDS? It has a lot of interesting features you won't find in BlazeDS, it
is actively developed and commercial support is available through
subscriptions (http://www.granitedataservices.com).

What about a page listing third party open-source tools and platforms (eg.
BlazeDS, GraniteDS, amfPHP, etc.)? The "Getting Started" section (Project
Wiki), for example, doesn't give any hint about how to setup complete
environment.
