[FFmpeg-user] Stream plays with ffplay but doesn't save with ffmpeg

Hi, I'm trying to figure out why ffplay is working and ffmpeg is not working. The stream plays episodes of the same TV show. When the episode changes, ffplay plays the next video and ffmpeg freezes. Is there a difference to control how each program works?  Can I make ffmpeg run like ffplay? f
