I've been following this particular botnet pretty closely. It's an
incredible one. If anyone is interested, I have a list of IPs of this
botnet that increase daily:

So this issue hasn’t resolved itself unfortunately and so I still get the
occasional email that just simply fails to deliver.

I tried to upgrade to Exim 4.96 using recently updated FreeBSD port,
