Thanks for your quick response. Small correction.Just read file1.xls is
april and file2.xls is may up to march.
In the month of april monthly and cumulative figures in male,female total
is same.
But in the month of may i enter the monthly figures in male female .
*IN THE SAME MONTH

=SUM($E$4:E4,$F$4:F4) in cell G4 File 1

In my attached files file1.xls is one month reports. file2.xls is next
month reports.
I want to cumulative values in cumulative columns automatically when i
enterd present month values in monthly columns.
Please help me.
