Hi Karthik,
Check if the data which you want to paste is fulfilling the "data
validation" criteria(s). Copy that data and paste special values somewhere
and check the data which you are going to paste if that is matching up with
the cirteria as per text and format etc. OR not.

You may have a format issue. Try using Paste Special instead of just
Paste. Select All or Values with number formats to paste.
