Hi Umar, Quick solution for you, which you need to edit as per your requirement. To know the precedent cells, you can use following:- Suppose the range is G12:G13 for which you want to get precedent cells locked. Range("G12:G13").Select Selection.DirectPrecedents.Select Selection.Lock
