hi you can use following line in stead of yours ieobj2.getlementbyid("cmdclose").click IE.document.all.Item Call IE.document.parentWindow.execScript("javafunction()", "JavaScript") in above secone line replace javafunction with a function which is called by your webpage on clicking ok button...
