it's simply a number.
ANY number can be displayed in any way you wish.
Simply right-click on the cell and select "Format Cells".
then,
If you want the $, then you can select "Currency"
If you simply want it to be numeric, select "Custom" and one

Goto Control panel, Select Regional & Language, in format Tab select
Additional settings,
Select currency tab, goto digital grouping & select second option from top
with coma after 3rd digit.
