You won't face any version clash issue after installing Office 2010.
Installing process will offer you to keep your previous version of Office.

why do u want to use vba . simple make the dynamic range and add it to the
source of pivot whenever u will add or delete the data in source sheet it
will automatically get updated

in which i inserted data from A1:C3 and then D5:E9 and i wrote
Sheet1.range(A1:E9).Areas(1).Address but it returned $A$1:$E$9 as address
and in case of Sheet1.range(A1:E9).Areas(1).count it
