USE THIS

If u want to use as an array use cntr+shift+enter. It will give u proper
result.

You are checking absolute ranges(A8:A14) with a single value "a". Which is
not possible.
Please narrate your requirement as well as send with sample data.

Hi Herman,
Have a look at the attached. I've provided a solution that doesn't use helper
columns, so the formula is a bit bulky. Copy it down as far as you need.
If you have a very large data base, helper columns would probably make the
calculation time shorter.
