This is not a formula. I need the actual formula you used so I can see what you
are trying to achieve.
I don't mind persisting with this, but you will need to keep answering my

I used your suggestion, but still have the same issue. I've included
all the code - perhaps you some suggestions ?

less than 8 subjects.
What I wanted is it finding sum if only one atempted either 8 or more
subjects
the sum found should be for the least 8 subjects of all the attempted

the columns in total are over 15 so if more than 8 columns have data in them
I want to get a sum of th least 8, but if only 7 columns have data then the

As I said, you can use the xlLastCell method.
it considers cells that WERE used as "reserved".
It's kind-f like if you were to hit "undo", the deleted rows would return,

possible, like when you exit and re-open the file.

Hi Sachin,
Visit this link - http://excel2003menu.excelitems.com
Alternatively, if you remember the shortcuts of excel 2003, then you
can you use them too. Excel 2003 shortcuts works very well in Excel
2007 like Alt+D+S(to sort the values) & Alt+F+A(To save as) etc etc.
