Is there any way of seeing VBA code that is password protected? The password
cracker I have (password.xla) doesn't seem to allow access to the macros.

yes sure you can do it by selecting the whole sheet and removing the
check on protect sheet, then select the cells you want to protect and
clicking the protect and then protect sheet with a password so that
you can protect the specific cells in your sheet. if you need any
