Using wireshark, I can see firefox uses TLSv1 and evolution tries to use
SSLv3 - is this a likely cause and can evo be forced to use SSLv3?

directory structure it was well
over 2G in size so some consolidation has been done in the past.
Current version is 2.32 on gentoo with my first evo being a self
compiled very early, much less than 1.0 version which has been
continually upgraded.
