Is there a way to prevent attachments from being saved in the Sent mail
folder? I often send attachments containing files that I already have
copies of elsewhere.

I've setup evolution for a new client I'm working with on my Fedora 7 install.
I entered my username (without the domain name) and the owa address into
the "Receiving Mail" tab of the account setup and I entered the customers
exchange servername for the Global Catalog server name on th

Hi List ;
when I close / exit evolution the program grey's out like its going to exit,
then it hangs for several minutes, sometimes so long that I jut have to kill
it .
Any thoughts how to fix this?

I need to access Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5
so it seems that this solution is no good for me.

Yes, I received a warning when I installed it, but it has been very stable.
The odd thing is that I followed instructions to install 3.12, but got the
latest dev build instead.

information is still there, but it won't display in Evolution.

ed, and a huge mess for me to clean up when I get back. So I think
at this point I will look for alternatives to Evolution since it is not
quite reliable.

I just downloaded a centos 8 stream and installed on an older linux box that I
had been using as a server.
It installed, loaded and started exactly I had expected.
I logged in as me, the only user.
The very first thing I wanted to do is setup email. I started evolution and
went through the
email address (n...@domain.com)
- Password - Generate App Password
- Requires authentication - Yes
soo.. no email yet...
As far as stable OS's go, the work uses rhel (centos), that is what I chose. I
will happily listen to others views on stable OS.

Generating the app password and using it to 'access' the server
worked. Same password for imap and smtp.
