I have an IMAP account (exported by Exchange). It has a separate
"Calendar" folder where all calendar items show up.

Hi,
Edit-> Preferences-> Mail Preferences-> Automatic Contacts Tab.
Automatically create entries in the address book when responding to
messages. Guess this is what you are looking for.

PST import is one thing we are looking at. I am working on a plugin for
Evolution that can import .pst files (2000 and 2003,2007 formats). I've
it tested for Mail and Contacts importing and it works great

Just disable "Apply filters to new messages automatically" and you
should see the mails back, which explains the junk filtering. I'll get
everyone their Junk back soon ;)

Looks like the evolution-exchange package is not able to find the new
binaries of EDS. Is evolution-exchange built using the updated EDS rpms?

your Templates would be
stored in there. Its a Drafts based plugin. Selecting a template should
invoke a composer for you and retain the template even on sending the
mail. That's the only difference for mails under the Drafts folder and
the Templates folder. HTH

I am on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and use evolution mail client.
My folder "Sourcng Validated1" is missing from Evolution. please help
me to recover it.
I checked in /home/bharath/.evolution/mail/local -- it has the
following(concerned files):
