time I get to the point in the new account wizard where I authenticate, evo
crashes. Here is the command line output. Thanks for any help o

Same here on Ubuntu 9.10. Switched to DavMail & T-bird for now, but

Which is why I switched to T-bird/DavMail. Calendaring works well if
you get the URL right (and its case sensitive).

This is a MIME problem, not an evolution one. It depends on how the
sending system encodes the PDF acrobat/PDF or application/PDF. Make
sure both MIME types open in the reade

I use kmail for gmail because you can easily configure these actions and

As written, this will create a lot of false positives.
You could try procmail, or just delete them manually when you get them.

Looks like you are using POP, and if I am correct, then the answer is
"no". POP only retrieves from the Inbox. If you want to keep your
rules/filters, you should use IMAP so that you can have access to all of
your folders.

Anyone, what is the current state of evolution-mapi in the Ubuntu 9.10

Every time I have done a new install, I have somehow turned off the
tasks and memos that disply by default in calendar view. I must be
losing it, because for the life of me, I can't remember how to do it.
Google has been no help.
I usually do it to give the calendars more of the screen, but at th

you quote.
My final suggestion is to join the davmail-users list. It is low volume
and the primary developer is active and very helpful there.
Instructions for joining the list are on the davmail website.

Is this a known upstream bug or should I file one on Launchpad?

Log into your exchange account via browser/owa. Set up your filters
there. It will store them on the server. Turn off local filtering.

On one install my outgoing filters don't work. I get the error message

Its just a connector. It doesn't do anything unless you create an
account, add your computer and populate it.

solution I have found for a 2007 server.
I read on the DavMail list that the protocols used by Exchange 2010 were
well documented. The context was whether DavMail would support 2010.
My question is whether there are plans for evolution to support 2010
without resort to DavMail or another 3rd party
What I meant was that my exchange server allows

Usually, exchange is configured so that the hostname is the same for all
of the protocols, including imap and smtp. This likely
edly bloated, but seems to have a
superior interface to any prior version. I run it for group calendaring
under VirtualBox.
