I've managed to get evolution set up to use an openldap server for my
address book and I've installed the evolutionperson.schema, so I have
all of the additional attributes available (like birthday) in my contact
entries. Everything is working exactly as expected. What I'm trying to

ironic that Evolution encourages it? I can't believe this hasn't been
raised before, but I can't find any previous discussion of it, just
plenty of complaints about top-posters.
