is there anyway to deactive the mail component of the exchange connector
and still sue the rest? The problem is that my evo is unable tos end any
mail over the exchange connector due to some weird behavior in the
exchange server, so I use IMAP and SMTP to access my mail in the server.

I am using Evolution to access MS-Exchange account.
This works OK as long as I am not behind a proxy.
"https" is used for OWA string.
Setting gnome "Network Proxy" preferences doesn't
help. Is there any way to make Evolution go through
proxy for MS-Exchange access?
My environment is:

My hard drive is filling up rapidly, and the culprit is an enormous (66
GB!) file filled with the follow Evolution error message, repeated ad
