searched the archives and was unable to find this info. I have been
plodding along without the use of the GAL in evo-exchange until today.
After figuring out the correct server name I can now see my GAL!

folks -- is it just ldap availability that is required for the
exchange connector to talk to the Global Catalogue?

I use evolution 2.6.1 to access my cyrus imap account. Another application
need to check the same account in parallel. And often this application
fails to recognize that I have read message in the inbox via evolution.
The change is recognized after I close evolution.
