[Evolution] evolution 2.6 and filters

I just installed fedora core 5 and evolution 2.6 and i can't achieve to make filters work when new messages are received on my imap account. I need to select all the inbox (CTRL A) and activate the filter manually (CTRL Y) what could be the problem ? Thanks Eric __
