Yes. Here are the generic recovery steps (Evo 2.4):
a) Have a look at your ~/.evolution/addres
I keep ending up with a weird evo problem where clicking any message in my
inbox tells me evo could not retrieve the message.
What's been fixing it, is to mv ~/.evolution{,.nopers}
However, this is toasting my addressbook, which is a pain.
