[Evolution] language selection in composer

If I reply to a mail the one-liner above the cited mail is in German, but I would like to have it in English. Is there a way to configure this without changing my whole desktop from German to English? I use Evolution 2.4.1 on Ubuntu Breezy. Thanks in advance for any hint. Gerhard __
