folder you mentioned and I see multiple folders with two character

Some of these are empty and others have files in them. The
temporary files that are in /home/user/ are attachments from all over

Can you check the contents of the directory
.evolution/mail/exchange/<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>/personal/subfolders/Inbox/cache ?

There isnt. But all the files would anyway be just under .evolution for
