the command line or otherwise ?
I would like to use evolution as editor application to open search results
returned by recoll

Ok I've solved everything: I've setted in sending options port 587,
encryption TLS, and authentication "login" ("clear" was wrong). So
Evolution asked me again for my hotmail account's password and then it
correctly sends the email! Thank you all for helping!

Setting port 587 and SSL it says the same error message, setting 587 and TLS it
says: The reported error was: authentication response from server wrong

Hello, I have some problems in order to sanding emails with my hotmail account.
The reception with Pop it's ok. Instead when I try to send a message Evolution
says: "Impossible to connect to smtp.live.com: I/O operation timed out".
How can I resolve it? I have setted in sending options SMTP, smtp

Does anybody know if there's a way to operate read-write offline with
Exchange Calendar ? Using the classic Connector (formerly ximian
connector) the calendar is available offline in read-only mode.
Anybody tested the same with a Brutus infrascructure ?

great. I have the same problem of u with suse 10.2 and evo 2.8.2.

Could not find Exchange Web Storage System.
The configuration use is exactly the same as suse 10.1 evolution version.

I think problem is SMTP not IMAP.
Do you have the same SMTP configuration than before?
